Poetry and Memoir Retreats, 2022:  Park Rapids, Minnesota is in the northwest-central part of the state. The closest airport is in Bemidji, MN (BJI), about an hour’s drive from Park Rapids. For a small fee, a shuttle will be available for participants flying in to Bemidji  and not renting a car.

Other airport options are Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP), about a 3.5-hour drive from Park Rapids, or Fargo, ND, (FAR), about a 1.5-hour drive.  There will not be a shuttle option from these airports.

For those participants who may be at the retreat without a vehicle, retreat leaders will make sure you have a ride to dinners, shopping, group outings, etc.

Retreat leaders will also help to facilitate ride sharing from any of the airports listed, or from locations within driving distance.

Mixed-genre Retreat for Teachers:  All of the above, except the retreat will be held in Brainerd, MN, 2.5 hours hours from the Minneapolis airport.  There is also a small airport in Brainerd.  Bemidji would not be a good option in this case.
